let's take time to appreciate our helpers.

2021 began with news of the tragic death of Piang Ngaih Don, a helper from Myanmar.
Like many Singaporeans, we were shocked and dismayed, believing as a nation we are better than this.
Every helper has traveled far from their family to care for ours. We believe helpers deserve dignity and a duty of care, as human beings working in our homes.
#MAYWECARE FOR HELPERS
We have partnered with local organisations to provide offers for helpers, including free meals for helpers when you dine together at selected restaurants.
Let your helper know how important they are to your family. Throughout May 2021, join us as we show them our appreciation.
We believe Singapore can be a place where helpers can feel safe and cared for.
Get to know your helper better by sharing a meal and having a conversation together. We designed this conversation menu to help you better understand this human being who lives and works in your home.
VIRTUAL PHOTOBOOTH BY NTUC
Share your well wishes via the May Day Migrant Workers and Domestic Employees Mosaic Wall. The interactive platform allows you to take a photo of you and your loved ones, decorate the photos with our special May Day 2021 frames and stickers, and finally upload it into one big Mosaic with a personalised caption. Once you’ve done so, remember to share it with your friends so they can be part of this movement as well.
This is brought to you by NTUC and its related units of the Migrant Workers’ Centre (MWC) and the Centre for Domestic Employees (CDE).
